Craig Bryson,midfielder aged 30, arrives in South Wales after a six-year stint at Derby County.

Rams' boss Gary Rowett has allowed the Scottish international to join the Bluebirds on a season-long loan after Bryson racked up 223 first team appearances in the East Midlands since 2011.




Having allowed Peter Whittingham and Emyr Huws to leave the club, Warnock was quick to address his options in the centre of the park with the signing of Frenchman Loic Damour from Ligue 2 outfit Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas.


And Warnock repeatedly re-iterated his desire to further bolster his midfield options in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

He of course has Damour, Joe Ralls and Aron Gunnarsson in his ranks, but he will have been eager to add cover to his squad given that the Bluebirds have a gruelling schedule in September and October, meaning Bryson can provide sufficient cover if required.

The 30-year-old joined the Rams from Kilmarnock in 2011 and has been a mainstay in the side ever since – helping them reach the play-off final in 2014.

He was handed the captain’s armband under previous manager Steve McClaren

Don't think he's in the Derby managers plans judging by the players he's brought in.He's been injured a bit too and perhaps like Nooney needs a fresh challenge.Can't fault NW on this as the guy is top draw at this level.

Brayson started his career in his homeland with Clyde before signing a permanent deal with Kilmarnock in 2007 via a loan spell at East Kilbride Thistle.

Bryson made a total of 135 appearances for Killie before joining Derby in 2011.

He was a regular throughout his career with the Rams and made 37 appearances in all competitions for Derby last term.

What type of player is this guy? Not Guna lie I've seen us against Derby loads of times, his name rings a bell but doesn't stand out to me?
