EXCLUSIVE By Gareth Law

CRAIG BRYSON has agreed a loan move to Cardiff.

SunSport understands the Derby midfielder has penned a deal with the Bluebirds which is set to be made permanent in January.

Bryson, 30, joined the Rams from Kilmarnock in 2011.

He has been a key player and was handed the armband by boss Steve McLaren.

But he has been on the fringes under boss Gary Rowett this term.

That opened the door to a switch to the Welsh Championship side.

Boss Neil Warnock has been a long-time admirer and jumped at the chance to sign him.

Don't see the excitement, not been the same player last couple of years after a bad injury. Only started half the games for derby last season and 1 appreance of the bench so far this year. Would have just kept O'Keefe

Disagree think he is an excellent signing! Hope deal is done

He is back up, not sure what people expected.

Its been a very good window, keeping our best players and giving new contracts to key players, plus off loading fringe players plus signing good players at the start of the window, so I don't see how Bryson would be unwhelmimg, far from it, its a bonus really to back up our options which are already not too bad with Tomlin still trying to get into the team and Harris due back in a month or so

Warnock clearly stated the player would be a squad player! This is what Bryson is! Will do a good job when he plays, better than Halfords in midfield

I'm excited because he's a solid player. You know you'll get 7/8 out of him every game. Very good at what he does.

Feeney seems to have been a Warnock target for some time. Makes sense with Kennedy going out on loan.

Derby County midfielder Craig Bryson has agreed a loan move to Cardiff City, according to reports.

Bryson is said to have penned a deal with the Championship high-flyers which could be made permanent in Janaury, reports the Scottish Sun.

The 30-year-old joined the Rams from Kilmarnock in 2011 and has been a mainstay in the side ever since – helping them reach the play-off final in 2014.

He was handed the captain’s armband under previous manager Steve McClaren.
