Bloody hell..according to reports the Jacks are paying £8 million loan fee for the Portuguese guy from Bayern Munich
That's a massive gamble for a teenager who did absolutely nothing for Bayern last year.
Could be a master stroke...but not sure I would won't to build my team around an untried youngster

I think the 8m is including his wages for the year, but agree big gamble on a player that was massively overhyped and found out at Bayern. Let's be honest if he was as good as his rep he wouldn't be going to Swansea, all this they beat Man Utd and Liverpool to his signature is bollox

Sky said loan fee was 4m! Possible covering wages in top! Hate to say it a great signing! Could injure his knee ligaments early on then it's a waste

Talented player but not in Munich 1st team question is can he provide the goals and assists gylfi provided? Wonder if swans fans are excited with the signings told by my other half (swans fan) natives not happy and wondering where money as gone past 4 years.

Well £4m or £8m, they still made a hell of a profit on Gylfi.
He's got a load of potential still only 20 , BUT if he was that good maybe a bigger side would have come in ???
They have also sold Loriente (sp)and replaced him with Bony , which I wonder will he be has good as he was previously with them ?
A lot of unanswered questions . Also a massive profit for the Yanks

So a couple of guys in the USA are happy and also a certain Swansea Plumber

An undoubted talent but all his potential has gone sideways. Lack of goals and off the pitch issues, bayern probably think send him to Wales where he can hopefully calm. himself off the pitch with not many distractions and find his real form again.

Most pundits saying it was the deal of the day, time will tell ?
As above will they match Llorente and Siguardson, who basically kept them up ?

He's going to the right place then.
Mind you I thought he was outstanding against us (Wales) in Lyon and if he reproduces that form they will have a class act on their hands

I work in Germany quite a but been to a few bayern games, my German friends say on his day he can take any team apart it's just off field has held him back.
If he can find form the Jack's have got themselves an amazing signing.

If they stay up - it's money well spent .

Whats more puzzling is why did they attempt to get a Barnsley player on loan and leave it so late they run out of time ! why not buy him Or was he to expensive for them or did they run out of money?
