" Boltons Situation "

Bolton can't buy anyone for a fee , free transfers only. Loan deals can only be 6 months maximum and maximum wage we can pay is £4500 per week to any new incoming players. This embargo is killing Bolton

Then we shouldn't be wasting time talking to them.

Not sure the 4.5k a week saving is better than keeping Noone just in case.

The Bolton situation is not clear cut, there are numerous scenarios that could take place, if they sell a player and we give Noone a free transfer then job done for them it keeps them within the fpl rules one in one out, and therefore that £4500 can be increased, whether they would be able to pay Noones reduced wages
( because he is not going to get there what he gets now) is debatable. I am sure that a deal could be brokered, but if he is on £20k a week then we would still have to pay his wages of £15500 a week, we could of course loan him, we pay part or all of his wages and they give us a loan fee, which would cover his wages deal done.

Annis I have just been told that Bolton are not under a fair play embargo so the rules are not applicable, they are under an embargo due to the Inland revenue the rules are therefore different.
"Bolton Wanderers remain under the terms of a transfer embargo due to a default in their filing obligations alongside the failure to provide additional financial information which is required under EFL regulations.

“The embargo permits the club to register up to 23 professional players and at its meeting last week, the EFL Board, given the number of injuries affecting the Bolton squad, was asked to consider a request to take that number to 24 by registering Jeff King to play in the first team. Following due consideration this request was rejected. The board felt that 23 registered players was the fair number for a club under embargo. This number was increased at the start of the season from 20 to reflect that clubs had to observe transfer windows.
