Just flew back from Mallorca ...,

....and a Jack, complete with replica shirt sits down next to me.
My wife whispers 'Don't embarrass me, yourself or the family (daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren sitting immediately in front of us) by saying anything childish.
So I sat there as we waited for take off listening to him talking (loudly) to his wife saying something like "I wonder if the Swans have signed anyone with the Gylfi money yet'.
I kept to my word, gritted my teeth and said nothing.
Then my grandson (14 months) popped up on my daughters shoulder to gaze at me from the seat in front. He started to smile and held up the palm of his hand to the Jack (he's into high 5s). The Jack said "Does he want me to high 5 him?'
I replied 'No, he's letting you know how many games we've gone unbeaten!'
Tbf he did laugh.

What is it with the jacks? Flew from Cardiff on Monday, guaranteed there were more Cardiff than jacks in the airport. But they can't resist wearing their shirts to the airport can they? Counted at least 7 of them

It's the same everywhere and with lots of teams. I went to 'Little England' in Disney's EPCoT last year and it was surreal; not only did they have their own Rose and Crown Pub complete with Fish and Chip Shop, they also had piles of England and/or top Premier League clad 'lads' stood outside knocking back the ales and ignoring the wives whilst the kids sat in their pushchairs out in the heat!

Not many Swansea shirts about to be honest, as the fans were hiding from their own problems at the time. I note a slow return to their smug boasting on here though!

Saw several of them at Longleat on Monday, funny how the shirts came out after one win. Four of them in the ghastly Joma red and green kit and one of them in a purple and green number. Horrible bunch.

About 10 years ago we were staying in Ibiza and decided to visit a local bar with my lad.
We'd had a couple of drinks when about 8 blokes and their women came in and started talking really loud with Welsh accents.
Realising we could be Welsh fwiends, I asked where they were from.
'Swansea' was the reply, to which my lad said 'urgh, we hate Swansea. We're Cardiff fans!'
I almost spat my pint out. Stupid boy!
It all got a bit awkward after that.

I remember being in the Cista Brava watching Cardiff play in a pre season tournament v Celtic (a few years ago as McCormack was playing got us)
I was with a Rangers fan (along with our families) and around 10 Jacks walked in and started muttering anti Cardiff comments while looking our way - they weren't banter, which I would happily have taken and returned, but more aggressive.
The Glasgow guy said "Let's feckin take them on". I politely declined.
