It's hardly a hostile environment and only one or two (rightly death with) have has crossed the line...or fence in this case!
Those involved (fans and players) are probably as 'loved up' at that moment as any will ever be and I know from experience (like many of us who were there at the Leeds game, for example) the pure unadulterated ecstasy that comes from your team doing something extraordinary!
Slowly but surely atmospheres in stadiums is being eroded and that is contributing to fans walking away!
We have our own 'Mr Sterile' at the CCS and this stuff just plays into his hands!

Don't see why there should be any complaints.

Totally agree and I've seen our fans do it in years gone by and while it didn't effect or bother me I have thought it would and could cause problems as alot of drunken away fans don't give others a second thought.

But then you could argue that even without going into the crowd that the celebrations with the fans in the away end are not that all different?

I don't think so really. You will generally get a rush forward or towards the home fans to the side. I think a player running into the fans just encourages a rush forward as well as to the side.
Man city fans ended up on the pitch. I see the logic in it being a booking.
