Leicester City and Chelsea are still "a long way apart" in their valuation of Danny Drinkwater.
30/08/17
Sky sources say Chelsea’s biggest bid so far is worth £23m.
Leicester do not want to sell him and have very wealthy owners, so it would take an offer well in excess of £30m for them to be tempted. And that price could increase as the hours tick by towards Thursday’s deadline.
We've been told that the later in the window any offer is made, the more reluctant Leicester will be to sell because of the difficulty in finding a replacement.
Drinkwater handed in a transfer request on Monday, but still has the rest of this and three more seasons on his Leicester contract.
