Season Ticket Cards

Anyone else have issues with their season ticket card on Saturday. Mine didn't work against Villa and Sheffield United. A steward took my card from me at the Sheffield United game and advised a replacement would be sent out. I received my replacement with a letter apologising and telling me my new card as been checked at the turnstile and now works. Got to the turnstile on Saturday and it still didn't work, then had to go to another gate get a paper ticket and then requeue again.

Think they had major issues with card supplier I'm on level 4 and changed seats they are still waiting for new cards Sounds like other problems to, i was informed before start season of problems which i put out on here .

Sounds about right about the new card supplier. Weve used the same cards for the last two seasons, and have had no problems this season either, all three home games.

My sons didn't work Saturday and they took it off us.

It worked for the Villa game he went to

Still have not sent out Gold Cards either despite saying they would over three weeks ago and to add insult to it all if you go in the club shop they then kick up a fuss when you havnt got your card to do your City Cash when they havnt even sent the things out......

Great on the pitch and in football terms total shambkes off it and all the things that should be quite basic.

Hardly a shambles, as it's an issue with ONE supplier and not the club itself!

Pembroke Allan put it up on here before the season started that the club had informed fans with NEW season ticket cards only that there was an issue with their supplier and it might be that paper tickets may need to be issued for the first few games. It appears that these issues have continued

That's how it has turned out, the club are actively trying to get it sorted and I can't see what more the club could have done in the meantime?

Most of the complaints I witnessed were from people who arrived at the turnstiles close to kick-off and were then 'put out' because they were referred to the club official(s) already in position and tasked with sorting things out on the spot

The situation was IMHO well anticipated and there was no requirement to walk around to the Ticket Office, yet some people acted like it was the end of the world and the abuse these people had to endure was frankly pathetic

It may be a tiny bit inconvenient but in the grand scheme of things a major issue it certainly isn't...

yes, but the issue is with the provider and not the club. It seems some cards are fine when tested and (in my friend's case) worked at the opening game but not the next two. Equally, they put the wrong seat number on her ticket (same as her hubby's) so she's been sitting on his lap at the last two games!
