Is it allocated seating. Do the away support all stand ??

Yes normally we stand unless your closer to the front, fulham would be good as its only £1 for u18s I think. Most people don't sit in the seats they are allocated at away games.

I've been taking my lad away for years and he's 16 now, neither the standing or the non-use of allocated seating have ever been a bother.

If you want to go into the less packed areas try to stay away from the segregation line or the back. Often seats at the front are empty and they are great for really getting close to the action for a youngster.

We were literally feet set when Mason got those 2 deflected goals at Ashton Gate about 5-6 years back ( his first away) and he loved it.
40 odd grounds since he still does

Fulham would be an excellent choice mate, never any problems and should be a large City contingent there.

Of the away games coming up, definitely go to Fulham and you should be able to sit in the first 3 or so rows... behind that most will be standing. Birmingham is not too bad. QPR is a bit tight and busy if full

One of my sons first away games was at Fulham, when Jordon Mutch scored the late winner. He was 12 at the time and we had a great day out. Also,we were walking to the game through the park, where there were people playing tennis, very quickly City fans came out with the song, you re just a s..t Andy Murray, and we all moved onto the game with big grins on our face.

My favourite away game for some many reason The ground old style , not to far away , the walk through the park , the pubs and cafes around so more than just a day at the football .
The most ironic chant which made city fans laugh is Fulhams a shit hole I want to go home

Reading always a good away trip for the youngsters.
Short trip, easy to get to, no hassle and cheap tickets deals
Last few years they have set aside a family area block reserved for assigned seating with clear area in front so no-one able to stand and block the view.
