Could anyone please help and advise what is the best method to repaint a ceiling with white emulsion where the previous covering has peeled away in places showing patches of bare plaster? Thanks in advance.

Firstly make sure you remove any flaking paint,if painting over exposed plaster, put a mixture of 60%paint40%water coat on first

As above. You should then fill around where the old paint edge meets the bare patches, then sand down carefully so it feathers in with no lip.

shocked that no one has pointed you in the direction of Alisher Apsalyamov for advice. as so many thought he was actually a time served painter.
