I always say it but crowds will keep increasing with success. They already are increasing with big walk up crowds. Just look at Wales FC! A bit of success and challenge to go to the Euros with a couple of great players in the team, the stadium is full! Gone from being a small crowd to a packed stadium in a matter of a couple of years. :blue scarf:

The missing fans are often labelled as 'glory hunters' or 'fickle'. If that is a fair reflection (which it would appear to be) then 1. We need some glory or 2. Need to be top come Christmas for them to fully return.
Five good results won't bring back 9,000 fans overnight. They will slowly return over the course of the season and if we are still up the top of the league come March they will be tearing themselves apart trying to get tickets and posting sob stories online about how 'unfair' it is they can't get tickets to watch City's big games.
So I agree with you we have seen a reasonably good increase (15k to 18k) and that will grow as the season progresses providing the team keeps up the good work on the pitch.

It took us a while to get decent crowds in the Dave Jones era. In 2006/2007 we started off with a bang, playing attacking football and were six points clear in mid October, but we were still "only" getting around 16 or 17,000 at that point, so there is a big similarity to the current situation. When we moved over the road the gates went up to a regular 20K+. This was partly due to the novelty factor and the fact we were now established promotion contenders.

They have increased compared to last season so can only se it increasing. Ore as season hoed on nut suspect 19 to 20k be normal until near end season and depending on where we are it will go up more or will decrease!

itll be funny to here the switch in rhetoric from this forum if they do come back, from "where are all the fans" to "look how many glory supporters we have"

Its a tough one for me and I guess many will be the same.
I had a ST for about 18 years but for the last couple of seasons I've made the decision to go to more aways and for me I can't afford a ST and 10 aways in a season.
The Cardiff prices are reasonable so I can't complain about that but I'd rather go away than go to CCS.
