Ledley rejects Cardiff?

I was listening to Call Rob on my way home from the Cardiff vs Qpr match and correct me if I'm wrong but I heard a female Cardiff fan ring in and ask why doesn't Cardiff go and sign Joe Ledley, and I heard Nathan Blake say that we had been in talks with him but he had turned us down and even the female caller was surprised by this news. If that did happen (According to Nathan Blake) then the guy can go and F*** himself tbh. He's a joke if he thinks he can get a better offer than us.

I think we need someone who can come on with energy rather than someone like Ledley.

if true. it really makes you wonder who he thinks is going to snap him up.

A couple of weeks back I was saying to go and get him but I don't think he will fit in to the way the team plays , hes isnt mobile enough for the way we play

Hopefully Ben Watson, but a younger player is probably more likely....Watson won't want to be a squad player!

Ridiculous the calls to play him for Wales without a pre season, a competitive game or even a pre season friendly.
Perhaps you could get away with it in the championship , but at international level it's another thing.

Yeah I'm the same, 2-3 months ago I would have been happy to have him back but looking at the fast, High press, High tempo football we play Ledley wouldn't fit in with our style of football, and I would rather we look at someone younger and fitter tbh.

Not good enough, we've moved up a player and he's moved down a club......

Our Neil knows how he wants to play and letting Whitts go was the sign that its his way or the highway. Why would you sign a player who doesn't fit the model ?

I do wonder sometime why Gunners contract isn't sorted, but i think he is as slow as he'll allow.

No offence but I just don't think he's good enough.i think he would slow us down too much and that's been my opinion for a long while not just because we are playing well lately. Was never much of a fan of his when he played for us the first time around, I thought he appeared quite slow and lazy at times but that's just my opinion. When he left us to go to Celtic I just thought there is zero loyalty in the guy. Left the sinking ship - however it wasn't really sinking as malky arrived and got us to a league cup final and the premier league a year or 2 later. All I'm saying is that there are other players out there that I'd prefer. I have been to all the Wales matches at Home for last couple of years and I dont even think he plays well for them either. we have pace and fire in our team now and I would not want anyone coming in who slows the system down. Welsh or not Welsh!
