Ahh actually Fulham was in the championship - confusing how they've labelled Premiership and Championship as Division One - or am I getting old!

the second tier was division 2 up until 1992...then from 1992 to 2004 it became division 1..and of course then got rebranded again to what it is now.

Mate back in 1992 I was too busy enjoying the now infamous cold rainy tuesday nights on the Bob Bank against Rotherham to pay attention to what was going on up in them fancy dan leagues up top!

fair enough..but in 92/93 we were actually the only team to win the 3rd division having played in but not promoted from the 4th division the previous season if that makes sense....
