According to the Daily Mail, Everton are eyeing a move for Cardiff striker Kenneth Zohore as Ronald Koeman looks to bolster his striking options.

Why would a top premiership club want to buy a novice forward who hasnt hasn't proven himself for longer than 20 games? But 30m sounds right!

Unfortunately for us this is just the type of club that I feared would come in for him. The newly promoted clubs cant risk paying too much for him and hence wont put in a bid beyond around 12-15 million, a fee we would probably turn down. But a side like Everton know they wont go down and can risk 18 -20 million on a player for the future. Whilst Zohore could probably be persuaded to stay if someone like Brighton came in for him, Everton is another matter.

If this is true, and Everton are looking at him for the future rather than now perhaps we can do a deal. We sell but they loan him back- either until January or preferably to the end of the season. Could suit us all. We get the cash, Everton get their player and Zohore gets game time and learns a bit more from Warnock.

Maybe Warnock knew something that we didn't when he claimed that Zohore would only go to a top 10 Prem side?

Given Woods just went for £15 mil, I'd say anything between £15 & £20 million would clinch it.

That kind of money is nothing to a team like Everton who would pay more for the right defender.

What we've got to watch out for is a big club that will buy him and lend him straight back for the season.If Everton offered that kind of deal it would severely test our resolve in my view.

Maybe I'm a little over optimistic but would a club like Everton be In for zohore? Realistically they are the next level up from the likes of Brighton. We won't sell for less than 15mil. I don't think they would pay that much for what is in effect a reserve forward for them. Not to say he won't prove to be a revelation. But they have just blown 40 mil on a proven established premier/international standard player. Zohore wouldn't be the marquee player for them with he higher price tag. He isn't proven yet. I'd imagine at their level they would be looking more at out of favour players at comparable level clubs? I hope.

Everyone has a price but I genuinely believe that Ken is the difference between us going up and staying in this division.
I will state this.... Keep Zahore and we will be a premier league side next season.
Sell Zahore and we will still be a Championship team.

I'd take £20m and Niasse if he's still there, think he was at Hull on loan! Think we'd actually get the better deal - but Zohore would have a master to learn off of. If they made an enquiry they're the type of club to turn his head.
