' Aston Villa home saturday '

Let's get the CCS bouncing saturday.

I think we should expect around 25k in the ground, just over 4,500 brig from villa.

It's the first home league game we need to make the CCS a fortress this season, we need to make it hostile again for opponents, we done it in some games last season but not consistently enough.

Get off your backsides, bring your mates not just for villa but as many as you can and help us all unite to be that 12th man, because that could seriously be the difference between whether we get a place in the top six or be midtable for example.

Can't wait for Saturday, this beautiful club is finally on the up again, blue, bluebird on the crest, beautiful stadium, a manager who knows the division more than anyone and plenty of new signings.

It's going to be a good season, time for us to all pull together in the right direction and we won't be far away , bring on the villa!!

Well Said Liam, brilliant positive post and this game is massive against a massive club, there is no reason why the crowd can't be over 28,000 :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

City fans can pay on the day and it looks like Villa will be bringing nearly 5,000 fans and no excuses from them, its their 3rd visit to Cardiff in less than 5yrs after two awful years on the pitch by their standard.

Exactly, 20,000 isn't asking an awful lot and it's first home game so the buzz for most fans should be back for the new season, I'm sure it'll be a great game and we will learn a lot about where we are going to be in this game in a early test against probably the title favourites in my ooonion <O>

He's taking a stab there, reason I say 19k is we only got 21k last season and they were title contenders at the time, loads are on holiday this time around.

Sounds about right to me . Add 3000 walk up would make a crowd of around 22k

Blimey, thats good to hear. I imagine there will be another spike in sales tomorrow and Friday, if we get decent walk up volume then it could be a very decent crowd. I think the atmosphere will be decent for this one.

I would say around 24k, anything more and I will be pleasantly surprised. The club is moving in the right direction, but it will take a long time to get the club to where it was pre Malky and re-brand bollocks!

Only bottom of canton left apparently. Around 25k I rekon. Either way I'm f*cking buzzing. Can't wait to give Terry some serious shit the scabby f*cking English snake.

Searle had a guess at that figure, I hope it's more but our fan base and holidays I still think 19k how many season ticket holders will be missing on holiday but counted in figures.

It's true that the attendance given is never the true one. As we all know especially under Slade when thousands of ST holders didn't bother to turn up the attendances given were laughable!

Not particularly keen. But I am keen on hurling malicious abuse toward opposing players. It's very therapeutic I find.

It's a shame that tosser Grealish isn't playing as that would ramp up the atmosphere even more.

Neil Warnock:"I would not give them any,our fans should turn up if they've got any feelings for the club "

On Aston Villa's allocation

NEIL WARNOCK:

"We gave them a few thousand tickets - not my idea - but if it was my decision I wouldn’t give them any"

" I’d like our supporters to bring a friend get it up to 25k mark, it’s a nice time of the year, they’re going to get 100% effort from my team, and when you see the big money spendings like John Terry to come in"

"Even if you’ve not seen us before should come. You can tell around the city and other areas they’re coming back to the club. Speaking to Vincent and Mehmet and Ken, I stressed how important it is we’re all together and I’m enjoying it at the moment.”

“If they’ve got any feelings for the club, now’s the time to come on board and turning up" :ayatollah:

"Villa will have nearly 5,000 fans here"

What can new fans that haven't seen Cardiff before expect from your side?

NEIL WARNOCK:

“They would get value for money. If they’ve got any feelings for the club, now’s the time to come on board. We need everybody. As the bookies say, we’re in the bottom half, but when you get 20,000 fans behind you…., Villa will make a right racket and we’ve got to match that, as we did against them around Christmas last year, but I think we can do even better. I think they know now it’s not just a one-off and we’re talking a good game, I think they know they’re going to get good value for money, whatever the result, and they can be proud of their own club."

"I think that’s what I’m delighted about in, putting the pride back in the club and getting everybody behind us. The more people through the turnstiles the better for us.”

"I thrive on fans wanting value for money and triers, and I think that’s what they’ve got now, they’ve got triers. We have got quite a bit of ability as well but people don’t give as much credit for, but I’m not too bothered about that, we can keep that under wraps for now. recognise that as much.”
