Cardiff City receive injury boost as Rhys Healey confirms he's ahead of schedule with recovery

Cardiff City striker Rhys Healey has confirmed he's ahead of schedule with his recovery from the injury that has kept him sidelined since February.
The forward spent the first half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan with League Two side Newport County where he score seven goals in all competitions before being recalled by the Bluebirds.
He came on as a 79th minute substitute in Cardiff's clash with Burton in the Welsh capital in January, and scored what proved to be the winner just 11 minutes later.
But less than a month after his debut goal, his stunning progress was cruelly halted as he tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in the 5-0 thrashing of Rotherham.
Healey has regularly posted updates on social media to keep fans up to date with his rehabilitation, and the 22-year-old has revealed he should return to action sooner than first thought.
"It’s (rehab) going really well,” the forward told the club's official website .
"It’s tough, but it’s going better than expected and I’m actually a bit ahead of schedule. I obviously don’t want to rush things, but it’s very good.”
“It’s helped me massively with Callum (Paterson) coming in and (Lee Camp) Campy, because Campy’s a bit older and brings a bit of experience to help me and Cal through.
“With them coming in, it’s pushed me on and obviously I’ve pushed them on too to keep working hard and get back on the pitch.”
It was initially feared the striker would be out of action for at least nine months, although his impressive progress could now see him return well before Christmas.

I thought so guys but it appears 'out of site out of mind' to many on here judging by the responses to date! 
Rhys Healey is a potential diamond for the future of Cardiff City. I for one am very pleased he is on the mend and will sing his name as loudly as those who are ignoring him when he probably needs to hear 'support' from us most!
