' The Fitness of Cardiff City's Squad '

Cardiff City Fitness is hugely pleasing :thumbright: :thumbright:

Warnock Having seen his side face Burton just three days earlier, Warnock made eight changes to his side for the visit of Pompey.

Only Lee Tomlin, Bruno Manga and skipper Morrison retained their places from the game against the Brewers, and, while we are still the early days of the new season, the trio showed no signs of rustiness, if anything showing that they were able to take control of the game as it wore on.

Lee Tomlin wasn't withdrawn until midway through the opening half of extra time having played 65 minutes against the Brewers at the weekend while Cardiff's two centre-backs played the full 120 minutes in the Carabao Cup encounter.

Spot on, Annis!

City now have a true 'professional' in charge and it's showing on his paying staff. Everyone bust a gut for the cause last night and those who also played Saturday were impressive lasting the distances they did. Hugely pleasing indeed :ayatollah:

Annis,

We could have done without these few injurys but on the positive side when they are back it will make us stronger :ayatollah:

Heard a whisper Declan John to Pompey, they need a left back, watch this space :bluebird:

That would be a good fit for all concerned (Declan John) and maybe Kenny Jackett can get the best out of him in that Division :ayatollah:
