Very impressive and added an extra dimension to Cardiff's midfield when introduced in the 65th minute.

He replaced Bruno Manga as Warnock shifted to a four-man defence and that meant Damour could push on from midfield, allowing Joe Ralls and Aron Gunnarsson to hold the fort.

Damour offered up a couple of tricks of his own too, linking up with Mendez-Laing down the right. He also claimed the assist for Zohore's goal with a deft flick into the striker's path.

The Frenchman is pushing for a starting berth, that's for sure.

I think he is going to be a jewel in the city crown this season with a few other jewels too.

I think he will eventually become a starter but I have complete faith in NW not to rush him and M-L as they have not played at this level before and NW will be conscious not to push them too hard too soon in a very demanding league.

Jeez, despite not a great performance it's amazing we are so positive because for the first time in many years we have faith, hope and also a much more balanced team capable of making a difference.

Is he able to play a bit deeper alongside Gunnar instead of Ralls ? I haven't seen him play yet.
