PSG have just paid £200 million and more than doubled the previous highest world record transfer fee for Barcelona's 3RD BEST STRIKER.
HE will earn £825,000 PER WEEK??? And he father will earn £20 million for acting as his adviser????
This is probably the stupidest piece of transfer business ever!!!
This will now inevitably start a a spiral of inflated transfer fees, higher wages and even more cash paid to bloodsucking agents, lawyers, advisors etc which will eventually lead to normal fans paying more to watch their football whether live or through sky subscription
PSG have openly flaunted the FFP rules and will no doubt just get a fine which wil be irrelevant to them
Agree or disagree??

I suppose the only way to punish them for breach of FFP is to ban them from the Champions League and deduct them 40 points in their domestic league.
Although we all know that will never happen.

I agree it's shocking money but it just goes to show hoe much income these big clubs get !
If the fee Doesn't get covered by income then it's against the FFP rules but as it stands they are not breaching

If they can afford it, it isn't stupid. He may be Barca's 3rd best (personally I think he's better than Suarez) but he's at very worst, the 5th best player in the world probably. He's 25, he's a global superstar and has scored 52 goals in 77 games for Brazil. That's 52 in 77 games. Also, with Neymar on board, PSG will keep Verratti and can use it as a springboard to get other world class players. PSG also now possibly have a better team than Barca.
The money is absolutely crazy and I disagree with it but if Pogba (a centre mid) is worth £85m, I can see why Neymar has gone for £200m.

They made a mockery of the ffp rule other clubs have been pulled in over it

Have they?
How do you know that, have you got a link to prove it? I've read they've been working closely with UAFA etc. for quite a while to make sure everything is above board.

They need to sell a few shirts

Selling shirts will only make money for Nike. Nike pay PSG a fee for sponsorship whether they sell 1 or 1 miĺlion shirts

For this saying they broke financial fair play rules. Man city have spent over £200m this summer. And there are plenty of ways around it. However to say it will inflate prices is a bit pointless, considering this season we've seen championship signings for £15m for the likes of Britt assombolonga and gylfi being valued at £50m as an example.
