The fan view: Steve Bruce still has a tough job on his hands to turn the fortunes around of the once European champions.

There is still a lot of dead wood floating around Villa Park that needs to be removed. The fans are, as close to, 100% behind him and think that he is definitely the man for the job to get Villa back in the Premiership.

Expectations are promotion and only promotion, through the playoffs or, preferably, in the top two.

Villa, have a squad of quality virtually three times our,they should finish min 2nd.

mid table, they will start off good. but fade. old players, no pace.
although i said start good, i dont think they will cope with our pace. i think we will put 2/3 on them.

Terry was a good signing, if they got players around him who can do what he can't. I.E. quick, keep up with the quickest players.
But all they've done is signed names.... sure we've tried this before and failed.

Whelan, another good signing. If he had pace around him. people who can do what he cant.

but that's going to be there problem. too slow. and wont last the season.

Grelish is Injured for the game against us I think

I can't see them doing much and I think they will lose a couple of players late on in the transfer window

Horrible club detested by everyone in the midlands. Hopefully they will struggle this season.
