They are taking a risk as most of their signings are Portuguese! Can they tough it out in championship?

I'm stunned. He was captain of Porto at 18 and has the potential to be one of the best in the world. All the top clubs were looking at him and he chooses to drop down to the Championship. He will be in for a shock with how physical and competitive this division is. He will either show his class and stand out a mile, or be dragged down to Championship level when training and playing with lesser players.

It's the managers influence maybe his career as stagnated lately? But certainly in for a shock with the competitive nature of the championship. :old:

Out of favour with Porto manager and the influence of so called super agent, let's hope he goes missing at the CCS.

How are they getting around FFP? No parachute payments like some other clubs. Don't understand how they are spending so much on one player

It's basically a gamble, they've had 2 seasons of spending now. If they don't get promoted again this season you'll likely see an exodus.
