A man nicknamed the 'Lion of London Bridge' after he took on terrorists shouting "f**k you, I'm Millwall" during the terror attack has been filmed going on a racist rant and spitting in a man's face.

In the video below, he spits in a black man's face and hurls racist and xenophobic abuse at other members of the public who are part of a protest march.


Roy Larner battled three knife-wielding jihadis with his fists and was stabbed eight times in the Black & Blue steak restaurant, in Borough Market.


But now footage of the Millwall supporter hurling racist abuse at a protester has emerged.




Roy approached a group as they chanted "Trump and May have got to go" in Elephant and Castle, south London, back in February.

The dad-of-one can be seen screaming: "Ban the foreigners, you c**t," before spitting at a black Movement for Justice campaigner.

As the activists shout "we fight back when the racists attack", Roy continues to swear at them.



He also appears to claim to be a member of right-wing group The National Front.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain last month, Roy discussed what motivated him to stand up and step forward during the terrorists' deadly rampage on 3 June.

"Three blokes tried to kick their way into the bar because the door was shut," he said. "They entered the bar - all of a sudden they start pulling out knives, one's trying to come to me with a knife. As I'm fighting him, the other two have come to me then to help him.



"The three of them, I'm fighting them, and at the time I'm thinking of those families and kids who need to get out of the bar. It happened in about 45 seconds and as I've got them out they've been shot around me."

I am probably the most liberal person on this board and sadly based on come comments on here people have no idea about what being liberal means - it doesnt mean being easy on criminals, terrorists or wearing flowers in my hair and singing woody Guthrie songs.

I actually think these kind of protests are useless and honestly there are other ways people can make best use of their time. Sometimes I think people just like to cause a fuss. However, spitting at them and racially abusing them is wrong.

And as I have said above I really think those kinds of protests are useless and pointless - however I don't think the people protesting, however much we may not like or respect them, deserve to be racially abused and spat at. Maybe I'm old fashioned and think we should handle ourselves with dignity.

The video was shot in February in the Elephant and Castle area of London, apparently during a student protest. It was posted months before Mr Larner was hailed as a hero for his actions in the Black & Blue bar at London Bridge, but has emerged in the wake of the huge number of donations that have been raised for him. Apperently words were exchanged by both parties and abuse was shouted at Mr Larmer after he told the photographer to put his camera away, then Mr Larmer retaliated and they videod him.

The funny story is this spitting incident is months before him saving lives and putting his own life at risk to do so for people he never even knew, I don't think many on here would what he did to save life's do you? But of course many on here who are ready to smash him are whiter than white.
