I just can't see them stumping up enough cash to tempt us, prob thought they could get him on the cheap?

hope there is no mileage on this. We need to say nope no matter what don't come back with any more offers

My understanding is that we won't accept anything less than £5m (ish) mark and want a sell on clause. But we're desperate to keep him as NW sees him as imperative to our promotion push!

Think we'll try to keep him as much as we can so shouldn't be much mileage

Warnock or Slutsky

I think I know which one I would pick. Would be interested to see how much they have bid, anything less than 10 mil is laughable, at least 15-20 mil before we should even consider.

Zohore can be that 20 goal a season striker that we have needed for so long, I dont think there should be any reason apart from ridiculous amounts of money that we should sell big Ken.

He is an asset to this football club and I am sure that he can provide the goals to get us promoted, we probably stand to make more money of him in 12 months time if we did decide to sell, especially if he scores 20 odd goals and gets us up.

£5m? Lol....this is the same world where £8m gets rejected for Asombolonga and Kodija goes for £15m!

Re: SECOND ZOHORE BID

He'll be worth double figures in 12 months so to sell him for anything less now would be stupid.

How do you know this ? 5 million is peanuts in the championship now

Not peanuts for someone who's had half a good season in the Championship and previous attitude problems. No one is TRULY "ITK" (even the famous Annis) but you do hear things from people who do have links. Could be BS, but honestly I'd take anything over £6,7m NOW. If he has a full good season next season then we'll get £8-12m easy, I agree.

I agree, but his true value currently can't be over £5m. I don't care how inflated this market is, he's had half of a good season. But I do agree, if he does well this coming season he'll be worth double figures probably!

10 goals in 11 games.
2 goals 2 assists first start for denmark.

Plus Warnock has said himself 20M. Obviously this is too scare teams off. but no way in the current market is he only worth 5M.

Yeah Warnock isn't exactly going to say £5m. Point being if someone offered say £5.5M plus 20% sell on clause. And they sell him for £15m later on - then we get £8.5m for a striker with half a good season and one good performance against an under 21 side which is very good business at this point of time. But again, like I said in another comment - we probably won't sell. Tan knows this could be a promotion season.

£5m !!!! The boy is pure quality and I see him developing to become a good Premiership striker. He's got pace, strength and good technique. That makes him worth £20m at least. We won't get that in the Championship but if we go up then he would be worth that easily.

Re: SECOND ZOHORE BID

Wed Jul 05, 2017 3:10 pm

The real point is he's worth way more than £5m to us right now, a team who is saying and doing all the right things for promotion worth £200m is not going to cash in their main forward for that. Even Barnet are getting £4m for their striker

Re: SECOND ZOHORE BID

Wed Jul 05, 2017 3:24 pm

Tap sheep clearly on a wind up or thick as shit, signed up 2 weeks ago got wum written all over him, multi prob. Zahore is worth 10 mil at the moment after his one good season, replicate last season then his price will double and I would consider cashing in if I was Tan, i would like to keep zahore but would be happy making a profit for once instead of burning cash.

Re: SECOND ZOHORE BID

Wed Jul 05, 2017 3:28 pm

We all know that every player has a price, but I think many of us are getting carried away with these transfer valuations of £5m...£10m...£20m. Has an offer been tabled or enquiries made?

If an offer has been made, how much was it?

So you are implying that you are ITK and that the club would accept £5m. Please tell us the source that leads to your 'understanding' because I would be amazed and disappointed if the club would let him go for anything like that.

I am so pleased you are not advising the club or involved in negotiations. I think that you are way off the mark.

This is cardiff city don't forget, how many players have we sold for peanuts, when lesser players at rival clubs have gone for much more?,if they offer a few million,no doubt he ll be sold

Re: SECOND ZOHORE BID

Wed Jul 05, 2017 4:11 pm

Not sure about that...they didn't sell Morrison when £3m was offered

Re: SECOND ZOHORE BID

Wed Jul 05, 2017 4:11 pm

Difference now is that we have Neil here, and in todays inflated player prices, Zahore is worth a lot more money than people think, selling our star striker, to help Hull get promoted, that is a joke, and if Warnock has anything to do with it, the only way Zahore would go if it was for stupid money, and then where would that leave us,who out there is going to replace him?

What are you on about? I've stated on opinion and that's how you respond to it? A new comer to this forum gets welcomed with BS like that? Been reading this forum for easily 2 years. Just never signed up.

What attitude problems? I've followed this kid from the start and I've seen nothing about his attitude? Met him and he's quite a quiet unassuming guy off the pitch.

You were asked a question "are you implying?". It was a fair question seeing as you did state "My understanding is that we (CCFC) won't accept anything less than £5m. That's not an opinion that is a statement.

5 mil for a young goal scoring talent like zahore proven in the champ never heard anything so stupid. Cornelius coat 8.5 couldn't hit a barn door.

Neil Warnock said himself Zohore couldn't be bothered until he sorted him out and threatened saying he'd sell him to Belgium

Look back at your response, it was no question you said "So you are implying". And "My understanding" is not a statement. If it was a statement I would've said "we will". It's just stuff I've heard, like everyone else on this board but difference is they claim to be "ITK". Half of the stuff these big posters put on doesn't even happen yet you all gobble it up

He's not yet proven though. I think everyone is getting too excited simply due to the fact that we've not had a good goal scorer since Chopra / Bothroyd really. He's had a half a good season. Don't get me wrong, he has amazing potential, I'm not denying that. And I don't doubt he'll come good once again and prove his value. I simply said we'd likely not back away from £5m or over BUT with a sell on clause.
