Potentially bad news in the chase for Barrie McKay joining Cardiff City, apparently Mckay has agreed personal terms with Rangers,Warnock had made Mckay one of his main targets.

After missing out on Jonny Hayes, it looks like City’s efforts in the market north of the border have been fruitless again, with reports emerging on social media suggesting the winger has completed a move to Nottingham Forest worth £500,000.

I've had a funny feeling this guy is the type of player that NW wants to fill the No 10 roll,a bit like Tarabet used to do.Not a physical player but one who can make something out of second balls etc.I'm hoping theres a twist to this yet.

Did his brother Malky put him off joining us?

I agree, like I said on another post we dont need to spend on a winger when we have got Kennedy available to us and quite frankly deserves his chance in the team, even if its just starting on the bench to begin with. Personally I think he must get a try before we bring anyone else in for his position.

Central midfielders should be a priority, then another striker depending on what happens with Saadi.

I'm not bothered about missing out on this guy at the current moment in time.

I disagree, Harris and Hoilett still have alot to prove and if they perform like they did for much of last season we'll need someone to raise the bar. It's also been said that Mendez-Laing is one for the future so we're Guna need someone to push those two.

I think we need a winger, a striker/number 10 and a center midfielder at the very least.

Barrie McKay has undergone a medical with Nottingham Forest ahead of his transfer from Rangers, according to Sky sources.

The 22-year-old, who was entering the final year of his contract at Ibrox after he reportedly refused to sign a new deal, will be reunited with former Gers boss Mark Warburton at Nottingham Forest.

McKay was at the City Ground on Tuesday to complete his medical.

Once the deal goes through, McKay is expected to jet out to the USA to join his new team-mates, who are currently in Florida on a pre-season training camp.

Didn't warnock want 3 new players in by the end of this week?
