Neil Warnock still needs to reduce the Cardiff City wage bill, especially with players on high wages and not giving much back.

For me the following four need to go this July.

Rickie Lambert £25,000 plus a week, return ZERO for the team.
Craig Noone £20,000 plus a week, return ZERO for the team.
Anthony Pilkigton £20,000 plus a week, return could be a squad player.
Declan John £5,000 a week, return ZERO for the team.



The problem is, who will pay these type of wages for these players?

Craig Noone is set for a Cardiff City exit following end of season talks with manager Neil Warnock.

The winger has been told to find a new club after almost five years with the Bluebirds.

Warnock had made it clear he was ready to take stock of his squad ahead of rebuilding plans this summer and would be prepared to move on senior men in order to make room for fresh faces.

I do feel Pilks in a conundrum- he's good enough for our side but where do we play him, he's not a striker he's not really a winger in the modern day sense - BUT could he play in the middle??

The rest would be interesting to see what few if any we get I think John and Noone have got to go for a few quid and I'd even strap a sell on to John, where as I think Big Rick needs to go for his own good maybe to a lower league side/ lower championship side

Pilkington would be the first to go for me, I just cannot see what he brings to the team apart from the occasional goal

I've been desperate for John to break through. I love nothing more than seeing a local boy come into the team, but it's obvious now he can't make the mark. He's better off going somewhere where he can get games.

I'm with you on this and cannot understand how his form dipped so much in such a short space of time ,he done ok in the prem. then ??????? so perhaps he does need a new challenge, hope he does well wherever he ends up.

I think someone will come on for Pilks and Noone we may even get a small fee.

Lambert I feel we will either have to pay off or loan out.

same with John, can't see anyone wanting to pay him 5k a week.
