' Tom Adeyemi and Emyr Huws '

Tom Adeyemi joned Ipswich Town as a free agent from Cardiff City

Emyr Huws it is believed joined Ipswich Town for approx £300,00 from Cardiff City (the mill plus was all paper talk, Warnock wanted rid, we paid nothing for Huws).

Would you have kept any of them?

Have Ipswich picked up bargains?

My opinion City have not really reduced the wage bill massively on these two as they were not on highest wages(but it does pave the way for another new player to join us), but if they could not make the first team under Warnock, pointless keeping them both.

Neither, no pace and not Warnock type players.

Both standard run of the mill Champ players, will do a job but won't develop much higher, well no evidence to such they will.

Not sure about the low wages though, Adeyemi came with a big rep and for a decent fee, talk at the time was around £15k per week. Also Huws, a lot of talk on Ipswich forums that they could match what he was on at cardiff and thought they would lose ok, seems to suggest a decent wage to me.

Warnock didn't want either so no point in keeping them.

I do wonder if Warnock had seen more of Adeyemi if he would have offered him a deal, think he could have done well got us and could be one who will push on and do well.

Huws I don't see a place for at all, hope he does well for Wales tho.

Adeyemi orchestrated his move to us by puttig in a transfer request..was brums youngest ever player of the year. and really rated by their manager who described losing him as... gutting..
we obviously offered him considerably more than they did.
Huws still had a year left of a lucrative contract to run at Wigan..was one of their top earners so assume that applied here as well..the fact that he could take a 5k hit in his wage packet when the loan seemed to stall over money backs this up.
