" AWAY TICKET PRICES "
At the FSF annual congress today and one of the topics is the away prices charged by clubs in the EFL and the dufferences...
Some good news is Ipswich are asking clubs to agree to a £25 reciprocal deal...which is a start hopefully we will agree to that....
but let's also hope more clubs look at doing similar deals...Reading did it last season and saw an increase in away fans attending their ground ....we need to keep on at our club to try to fight for reciprocal prices at more grounds especially Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds where it is touching £40
It will be a new FSF campaign this year to look at away tickets in the EFL

Good work Corky.
I'm sure Ipswich was mid £30s, and we probably charged under £25 to them so happy days for us and the club.
Hopefully a few more of us will go there this season.
The aim should be for a standard across the board price and the £20 adult and very good kids prices Reading did would be the ideal.
With the TV money clubs get and the thousands of empty seats at most Chsmpionship grounds this shouldn't be too much to ask.
I'm sure the payers can live on £14750 a week instead of £15000

Twenty's Plenty and when Clubs charge ridiculous sums of £30 plus our Club should refuse to take any tickets.

dont agree.
if individual fans want to boycott over price fair enough...but we get shafted enough by the police moving games as it is without the club joining in and in effect banning us.

I can't see why its that difficult for each club secretary to agree a reciprocal cost for each club. If its essential for Wednesday or Leeds to charge £35 then we should charge them that. However, if Reading want to agree to £15 (big away ends) to encourage fans to travel, then we are all quids in and the atmospheres will improve.

How does that work?
I know some clubs sell just away season tickets - wouldn't that be more beneficial??
