Like to play with quick wingers, a good number 10 & a strong holding midfielder.
(isnt that what we all want) :ayatollah:

Martin,

Warnock looks for a player with the right attitude, not soft but s tough one and one who appreciates football, passion, desire, never say die and player with heart and is a winner. :thumbright:

I think most of all he wants energy in his players to be able to get around the pitch effectively. I think this is why the likes of Whitts and Huws were surplus to requitement.

A player who can hold the ball up and be strong then distribute it or 9-10 put it in the net, a blood and guts player who'll stick it on the line for the team, wisely and confidently.

I think rather than referring to a 'style' it refers to mental attributes... Hard working, hard tackling, no nonsense, in for the team. That's how I see a 'warnock type player'.

Agree, natural winners with never say die, run through walls for him, and it's all about the team ethic. They must listen, and follow orders too, not do their own thing. That's how he wins promotion, he creates a team !!!

He likes a nasty streak too

These two above about sums it up for me.
With Warnock it's more about being effective rather than tactical.
