I remember that. A complete farce. The wrestler spent most of the fight on his back trying to kick Ali's legs, and I think Ali finally threw a punch half way through the fight. A complete non event, and they decided to call it a draw if my memory is right.

I think it's farce this, just stick to your sport.. might as well get Lydiate and Warburton in the Wales squad as our centre halves next.

As much of a farce this will be I will be watching it as it is being shown on the big screen in Creamfields but I would never a million years pay to watch this.

Boxing has become a joke, I can't wait for this fight lol.

When I used to train we would often call a session with no kicking allowed, when you train to fight with your legs it's so hard to fight and to not instinctively kick out. Will be interesting to see how McGregor gets on not kicking or grappling, your focusing a lot of your mind on not kicking so can often get caught out.

The only chance mcgregor has is a shock knockout ( if he can catch him ).

The interesting part of this fight will be the stance mcgregor uses. If he decides to stick with his low knees bent ufc stance he will be very hard to hit. If he stands up in a orthodox boxing stance he has no chance.

Jack, like me you're a big fan and knowledgeable of of both sports, so I can see where you're coming from and respect that

I'm just disappointed that the big winners will be the TV companies and worry where the already contrived future of sport is going with the influence they have

Its not worth a tenner because it's in conors contract that he looses his purse if he deviates from boxing. Plus, he wouldn't anyway, he's a martial artists and true martial artists fight with honor.

Will be interesting to see if Mayweather's legs have gone. If he doesn't have the stamina and McGregor catches him you never know.

A joke. Why is this happening? For one reason only to make McGregor, Mayweather and Dana White a shed load of millions. All they need is the gullible to purchase it. It's like Cardiff City team taking on the British lions at Rugby and convincing everyone they stand a chance of beating them.
It's a freak show and it will overshadow every legitimate UFC and Boxing match until McGregor and Floyd walk out to clown music and looking at all the gullible people they have conned. If you buy then don't bitch like a woman when you have realised you have been had.

McGregors going to get sparked out fast. Theres a video on youtube of him sparring and hes getting caught all the time.

Plus Conor was a good amateur boxer from 8 years old until he became interested in MMA when he was around 15 years old. Once he started MMA he didn't look back hence why he's one of the best strikers in the UFC.

I wouldn't underestimate him. Saying that, he's fighting one of the greatest boxers of our generation, that's why I can't wait to see it personally.
