A forum for all things Cardiff City

Yesterday City once again met up with Kadeem Harris and his agent(Dad) and went through a new contract that was drawn up before the end of last season, it was believed it was agreed on then, but still undecided?
So far not as much interest in Harris as they first thought from other clubs.
All is not lost and Warnock believes Harris can do well for City

Warnock won't be pissed about,he'll want to know quickly so he can get a replacement if he decides to go.

I wouldn't be impressed if he verbally agreed on this then goes back on it ? don't think NW will be amused and who does his dad think Kadeem is Giggs or the like ?
I get the ' getting the best deal ' stuff but c'mon !!!

Yep Warnock will be annoyed by that. We all know how he works and that he says when HE agrees in principle and shakes hands it's a done deal even if the contract isn't ready to be signed.

Is he really that good ?

im a Harris fan, but if this is true he wont be a cardiff player next season.
Warnock wont bust a gut for someone who struggles to cross the ball.
He's got everything but the end ball is lacking alot of the time.
personally id give him a contract, and say you got two days to think about it.
Otherwise the contract will be re negotiated with a lower wage.
It can work both ways

I like Kadeem, he's got something about his game but isn't anywhere near the finished product however this all smells of Paul and Tom Ince scenario, Father meddling in affairs and thinks his son is better than he really is, if Kadeem think's he's better than Cardiff then he needs bringing down a peg or 2, he's in a side managed by arguably one of the greatest football league managers.
Kadeem appears to be a wide boy on his social media, always wearing bling, holidaying and stuff, think the lifestyle has got to his head.

been here 5 and a half years under 4 previous managers and done very little. Warnock arrives ,shows some faith in him and now after half a dozen decent performances is scouring the league for more money.
boy needs a reality check.

his dad needs to keep his fukin nose out, what has his dad ever done in football to be advising him?
warnock should tell him where to go if he takes any longer to sign, taking the piss and fans wont forget this

Looking after his son's best interests? How do we know that the club have offered him a "fair" deal. We've only got Warnock's side of the story and let's be honest, he's not going to paint him or the club in a bad light.
If he can get better money elsewhere, good luck to him. It's football, clubs shaft players and vice versa. I wouldn't be gutted to see him go anyway, we'd get decent compensation for him as well.

We don't know what he's been offered to be fair. The way we're doing business atm I'm assuming that we're trying to get away with as little as possible to make funds available elsewhere so some negotiations are to be expected really.

Par for the course in this modern age. Distinctly average players who have achieved next to nothing looking for big bucks. This is not something new, and Harris is doing what most players tend to do now, and guess who has to pay.

Harris has given us one good period of 9 months under 5/6 managers.
He either wants to play for the one manager that has got a performance out of him or he doesn't. He is far from a proven player at this level.
I'm not really bothered either way but would want the decision made pretty quickly.

exactly, who the fuk does him and his dad think he is

Hardly surprising that there's not exactly a queue of clubs waiting to offer him the mega bucks to join them.
Anyone who saw him during the last few months of last season will know he's got a long way to go before he can think of himself as having made it.

Simple get rid
Tue Jun 13, 2017 4:31 pm
I don't see how people thought he was gonna stay here when we signed Mendez Laing and was going in for Hayes as well, it's obvious we was getting rid of two wingers out of Noone, Hoilett and Harris and it's Harris and Noone obviously.

we just need one good winger , who can beat the full back get to the by line and deliver an excellent cross. Harris, Noone and Holiett seem incapable of this so the search goes on

had one purple patch in the winter, struggles when up against a pacey full back....Not sure why he faded as the season went on but i guess its because the opposition have videos or analysis on him and have sussed him out.
I hope he leaves
Mendez Lainge 25 years old 33 goals
Harris 24 year old 12 goals
Tue Jun 13, 2017 7:23 pm
It would be nice if he stayed but he's hardly irreplaceable.
He is a quick guy that likes to take people on. While we have not had many of them lately, Warnock has more pull than our previous managers so I'm sure he can dig up someone he likes the look of.
Don't forget we have pilks too. He may not have the raw pace but he has a few goals in him plus a long shot.

Got loads of skill and pace...but his final ball is shocking at times and he doesn't score enough goals, that's probably why he hasn't got that many other offers on the table
He needs to just sign the contract, get himself fully fit during pre season and let his football do the talking
Tue Jun 13, 2017 9:57 pm
He should sign or go, pre season aint far off, and Kadeem needs to focus on that, as he as areas of his game that need improving, with us or elsewhere. Been decent for a few months, but needs to be better for longer, as there aint many offers it seems, even for free.
Tue Jun 13, 2017 10:00 pm
Harris is easily replaceable, but I'd love us to keep hold of him. Plenty of decent wingers out there with a lot more experance than Harris.
