Would love to see both come back if affordable. Charlie Adam hasn't been released by Stoke though. Would have been a good summer if we manage to sign:

Ledley
Campbell
Ward
Hayes

Keep hold of Manga

Pair of them couldn't wait to get from here last time around.

To be fair both got offered more money at bigger clubs, it's pretty normal for players to move when that happens! Apart from that when they were here and on the pitch they both gave 100%, surely that's the main thing?

Slower than my Granny.

I think he would be a good signing,
But I don't think we need him.

I think Gunnar is better in that position and we currently have Emyr and Halfords (lol) on the books so realistically we don't really need him, he hasn't the pace now to play as a link man or on the flanks so why sign for signings sakes

Personally, I think Joe shat on us and no one knows what Frazier was offered to stay but apart from that I really dislike ex players coming back, not often does it end well.

I think you're right but that bothers me less than him coming back to play for us now. He's just not what we need.
Too slow and virtually no creativity.

What worries me in all this free business is that we still have the cart horse lambert at the club

Exactly! It's not even as if Ledley was leaving for just a lot more cash either. He went to play in the Champions League, win trophies, play at a bigger stadium with more fans there, and join one of the best supported clubs on the planet. If the player moves for significantly more money, I wouldn't complain - unless we were Premier League title challengers, and they wanted to leave for a rival club.

That's as funny a post as I've seen in a while! Brightened up a long day! :thumbright: :ayatollah: :laughing5: :laughing5:

Ledley left mainly for money under the able guidance of his Agent (and also some non-football reasons) and didn't give a hoot about CardiffCity City FC at that time, so why would we want him back?

As OriginalGrangeEndBlue says, he's not exactly what we need right now anyway and I think some are looking at this with their Wales heads on! ;) :ayatollah:

I would imagine he will want a big club and go for Villa and try to get them up, and they will pay him alot more than us :bluebird:

really ..a Cardiff boy at a club that had just lost in a play off final..and 2 years prior to that an FA cup final. and happened to be the best team we had for a generation.looking again to try and win promotion the following year.
if ever there was a case for showing loyalty and not wanting to leave..here it is.
as for Celtic..does anyone here know off the top of their heads how many things he won there.?.its important in Scotland but not here in his home City...he kept making noises about how desperate he was to play in the prem , turned out it was the Scottish prem...

Spot on! :ayatollah:

I just wonder if some would be so 'forgiving' if his name was Joe Tan and not Joe Ledley? :? ;)

Not for me thanks - too slow and I think NW is looking for pace in the side, and not to slow things down. :bluebird:
