' Champion League for the Majority / But '

Sat Jun 03, 2017 12:17 pm

Champion League for the Majority, I was offered tickets.

But for my daughter Alexandra and myself tomorrow Atletico Baleares v Albacete Spanish Segunda B Semi-Final play-offs and I am honestly excited.

I have always preferred the smaller clubs, hard to explain to many, but thats why Loved the days of Cardiff City in the 70's,80's and 90's and also popping up to watch Merthyr Tydfil, great passion by local fans etc :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I was asked the other days what big games will I be coming back to watch City next season, I replied I honestly don't care who the opposition is, its about watching City :bluebird: :bluebird:

If everyone who turns up for the big events/matches etc turned up for the week in week out City games, City would be sold out every week :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

For me nothing beats the passion and excitement of watching smaller clubs :ayatollah:

Totally get it Annis and sometimes the dream is better than the reality.

It was always the dream to be playing in as high a division as possible but the journey was better than the destination, I can honestly say my best times following us were in the lower divisions. I think I have fallen out of love with Football quite a lot over the last 10 years, it was once a MASSIVE part of my life, but now anymore.

Good luck tomorow :bluescarf: :thumbright:

100% Agree, the dream is far better than reality and the journey is exciting :thumbright:

I really had fallen a lot out of football thanks to everything regarding the Rebrand and the Premier Season New fan we had.

So yes like you, I much prefer the good old days :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
