They are facts and facts can't be dismissed.

I think it's very revealing and shows the mess that Labour left.
The only one I'd say was a little misleading would be the minimum wage as some may say that the rise isn't that much of you look at it over 7 years.

Facts? I'm not a Labour supporter but these numbers for them are from 2010!!! Just can't compare them with what's in their manifesto today.

facts are things that can be checked..eg these figures..whats in their manifesto can not be checked ,they are just promises based on taxes they think they are going to collect being distributed here there and everywhere.the manifesto figures only add up IF the economy doesnt take a knock..companies dont find loopholes..companies dont move. etc etc etc.

Just interested to know where these supposed facts have been sourced from? Just looks like a table with figures to me. It has been quite well publicised that genuine facts state that the deficit has actually tripled since 2010 alone under this Tory government. It's also obscene to a) compare supposed figures from 2010 with 2017 and b) compare this Labour government with the last Labour government. The whole reason Corbyn was voted leader by party members is because people were tired of the Tory-lite politics of the self-titled New Labour.

I only post occasionally on here so no need for highlight it; come on guys we can all see that you support the Conservatives and that's your democratic choice but the constant dictat of Tory good/Labour bad is embarrassing. The posturing and name calling is quite frankly playground politics. Start telling us the good things Theresa May is suggesting and tell us where it will benefit the majority of people who use this board?
It's comming across very poorly to a long time watcher/occasional poster.

Tory supporters really clutching at straws if this is the best they can come up with !!!!!!

Question: where, exactly, is any part of our lower to middle class better under the Tories who've been in power for 2 parliaments now ?

I agree though it cuts both ways.

Annis, any chance my next anti-Tory bullshit poster could be made an instant sticky and left there for weeks. Now that would be fair.

Let's be honest, the majority of Tory supporters on here are individuals fortunate enough to be earning enough money that it would mean they would have to pay more if Labour came in. Let's stop the anti-Labour slander and the negativity towards the "lefties" and just admit that's the case. Of course, that's not always the case. Some feel disillusioned by Labour after previous governments. It's a strange attitude to have given this current Labour movement is far removed from previous Labour governments but that's their views so fair enough.

These are great points though. The general theme on here is Labour supporters pointing to the benefits society would enjoy from Labour getting in where as the Tory support revolves around focusing on the negative sides of Labour coming to power rather than trying to find the positives off what a Tory government would bring. I think that's very telling.

we will find out Thursday if it was people fed up of new Labour..or whether it was a minority of extremists ruining Labours chances. my view is TM started this campaign so poorly Labour would be ahead by a margin even if they had Jeremy the sugar puff bear in charge.

Surely posting your opinion, which ever way is valid? Why is something Bullshit because outs anti-tory? Politics is about just having a different view on the world from your opponent, for someone to be left wing doesn't make them a loony. Surely you have to put across a convincing argument to change someone's political stance? Calling them names shows a total lack of understanding more so shows the protagonist to be ignorant as to why someone would hold their political beliefs.

Even if you hate Corbyn, you have to admit he's run a very effective campaign. I've always liked Corbyn but I've always been able to accept his weaknesses. His choice of running mates for one! I've been pleased with how he's run this campaign and I think the current closeness in the polls is due to May performing so badly but also Corbyn performing so well.

I still think the Conservatives will win. It will likely be a majority too. I just think until Labour take back Scotland they will always struggle to get a majority in England and Wales. It's been one of the more memorable elections of recent memory though. I think turnout will hopefully be a lot better than it was set to be. It's got the nation talking about politics and, all political allegiances aside, that's got to be a good thing.

Where's the statistic for our national debt then Annis?.. or those percentages performing against inflation?

Smoke and mirrors.

Imagine what the nation debt would of been without the cuts ? If the tories carried on the magic money tree commitments of Labour when they came into power ?

There's some odd comparisons there.

OBVIOUSLY as time passes things like salary and GDP will increase.

It's like making comparisons with 1984 and saying Ooo the hourly rate was only a quid or so. And the inflation rate was 12% how terrible.
