Celtic are still in talks over a deal to sign Jonny Hayes from Aberdeen, according to Sky sources.

The player had been in Glasgow today with a view to completing the move, however, the hold-up concerns Ryan Christie's part in the deal.

The winger was initially set to head to Pittodrie on a permanent switch, but that now looks not to be happening, with a loan on the cards instead. Discussions over this and the impact on the fee are the hold up to the deal.

Yes another one bites the dust.

There was no way he was coming to Cardiff City, especially the chance to be re joined with his old manager Brendan Rogers ex Reading. Celtic would be his obvious choice so he can remain in Scotland. We will find a winger in Warnock we trust.

Real shame that. Could have been a definite starter for us, as I can only see Mendez-Laing being left on the sidelines for mlst of next season
