Cardiff shot them selves

Fri Jun 02, 2017 11:33 pm

Came down for the Champ lge final to find
most pubs have upped their price for a pint
Wetherspoon £4.50 for a pint, and most pubs
ripping everyone off, most pubs are dead
the City is
quiet, its busier on a norm Friday night.
The only pub we visited without upping their prices
and not rolling people off
was the Boro and it was a good night in there
Think most places have f@@@ed up with upping
their prices
Millennium NYE all over again

I used to work in The Crockerton on Greyfriars Road, the Lloyds Bar there. Every six nations match we used to have "event pricing", extra £1.50 or more on every pint. Not just today they do it for all big sporting events. Shocking aint it

On way home we want to boro and was 20 quid for 5 pints so not quite the 2.60 for us. Great atmosphere on town spoke with loads of visitors and lots of blooooobirds who noticed my 70s shirt. Well proud of cardiff as a city.

It would be the same in Spain, Italy or anywhere in the World, big event and lots of people expected of course they will increase their prices.
