Getting to Cardiff from Aberystwyth

Hey everyone, I may not be posting in the right place but I've tried everywhere else. I'm going to Aberystwyth Uni next year, and can't find a way to regularly attend games without paying stupidly high train or bus prices. Is anyone aware of a group of fans in Aberystwyth that would be willing to help me out in getting to games?

I'd give the supporters club a call. Obviously they don't run coaches from there but they may be able to put you in contact with someone who does as I imagine a few folks will make the trip down. http://www.ccsc.co.uk/

My daughter is in Lampeter Uni and often travels back and for on the Megabus.
The route is Cardiff/Swansea/Carmarthen/Lampeter/Aberystwyth.
prices can range from £1 to £10 each way (minus NUS card discount) depends when you book (she has managed £1 down and £1 back).
Journey time from Aber is around 3:45
current timetable shows bus leaving Aber at 8:30 on a Saturday morning only thing is the bus back is now at 17:45 on a Saturday so its either a rush back to town after the game or an overnight stay in Cardiff.

U fortunately I live 60miles across from aber and around 1.5 hrs driving time! have pm Tony hopefully someone who is on that side can help him.

I've decided I'll take this route. For a total of £5.40 to go Aber-Cardiff and back, I can't complain as a student. Any idea how far from the CCS the bus stop is?

It'll be in town so a 20 minute walk to the stadium chief.

I've noticed, when down for games, that coaches heading west actually pass the stadium and join the motorway at junction 33. Maybe worth asking if you could be dropped off/picked up by Asda maybe.

could do but there are 'rules' on buses stopping at designated stops only. however, I have been allowed to get off never on) if it seemed safe to do so at red traffic lights on occasion. Just can never guarantee it but maybe worth an ask on a driver by driver basis

As said above, the walk from the Bus Station to the CCS isn't long...unless it's raining!
