' Cardiff City Striker Frederic Gounongbe '
Thursday 1st June 2017
Het Niewsblad have suggested that current Cardiff City striker Frederic Gounongbe could make the move to Kortrijk after being deemed out-of-favour with the Bluebirds after moving from Westerlo.
Gounongbe made 11 appearances for Cardiff City over the season but didn’t feature for the Bluebirds for the rest of season after Cardiff’s 0-0 draw with Brighton.

People can say what they want he didn't show anything when he played but like Zohore didn't get the fair crack of the whip.. I will wait for the replies..

What would you say would be a fair crack if the whip mate.

He was showing it in training and getting picked over Zohore at the beginning of the season, but then not in the games. maybe a move to one of the other teams for a season would be good for him.

Have a good run of games in the team.

You can tell a lot about a player in training, he obviously didn't show as much as Zahore which is why he's never been given a run.

The difference is Zohore is a class act.

been quite a bit of talk about him having injuries.
i agree with Dando in that the chances he had was mostly when the whole team were poor.
but we must trust the manager to keep and bring in the type of players he wants and then live or die by those decisions.

Fred did have a fair run in the team at start of season and showed nowt imho.
I do take your point that we have given Zohore more and it's bore fruition though.

Fair run, started 3 games... don't throw an opinion without backing it up.

Ok, I admit that I thought that it was more than that. I still think that he is well below the standard that we should be looking at for a striker.
Unfortunately, if we are going for top 6 this year we have no time to nurture players and if they don't look up to it then I'm afraid that we shouldn't waste time on them.
All opinions though and that's mine
