NEIL WARNOCK: " JOE LEDLEY "

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has played down suggestions Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley could return to the club.

Wales international Ledley, 30, is out of contract this summer.

But he is not a target for Warnock, who also said Cardiff winger Kadeem Harris has agreed to sign a new deal.

"I know Joe. I was at Palace with him, he's a very good pro, but I've not heard from his people and I've not made any enquiries," said Warnock.

Cardiff-born Ledley spent six years with the Bluebirds at the start of his career, making 258 appearances.

He joined Celtic in 2010 before moving on to Palace in 2014, where he played under Warnock.

Probably just another made up rumour, get prepared for loads more over the next few weeks. Can't see why Warnock would want someone who has lost a bit of pace that he never really had in the first place, and someone who for some reason appears to struggle to last 90 minutes. He was a good player for us in his day, but I thing re-signing him would be a backward step. Now Warnock has come out and said there has been no contact, we will probably sign him on the weekend.

He has def bought a house up the cliff tops in penarth. But he done that a while ago it doesn't mean anything. He's from Cardiff and so is his family so owning a home here is perfectly normal.

Joe Ledley is a free agent and him and his family would like Ledley to be be back playing for his hometown club Cardiff City.

Think Reading may be a good fit for Joe at this stage of his career, linking up with Chris Gunter and not having to move from his present home. His home in Penarth is for when he retires
