Speaking to my mate who's a walsall st holder

About our new signing gk Neil Etheridge he said that he's a good shot stopper but shit on crosses. Hopefully he's not another Ben Amos this season.

Indeed. Hopefully he will shine at City.

If he was perfect he would have been playing at a higher level and be snapped up by a bigger club. Lets wait and see, he is still at a good age.

And Heaton, probably Gavin ward was the best on crosses.

He's 6'2 so he can't be that bad at crosses surely?

I think our CBs are pretty good at crosses and corners. Morrison is a boss in the air and whether we get a new CB or Manga stays out defence should be able to cope. As long as he's a good shot stopper I'll be happy

He went on to say that he's a decent keeper but may need a bit of time in championship but might need some patients with him bedding in. Sure Warnock would of had a good look at him. He's not a stupid manager by any means
