Other clubs should learn from them, especially once promoted to Premier League as it does not last for ever

I hope they stay up next season. Really nice to see, and this is what football should be all about. Being as loyal to your fans as they are to you.

I think the fact they are doing this with the odds being against them next season is fantastic, really will get fans on board. :ayatollah:

Depends on what sort of contracts they hand out in their attempt to stay in the division.Parachute payments are not a passport to survival as our club has found out the hard way.

It's fantastic to be fair! :thumbright:

£5 a game is surreal...and only off-set by it being £100 a goal at their 'Play Off' rate! :laughing6:

will Cardiff city do the same if we get near prem next season. If we are in playoffs it could be a way to generate potential bums on seats and build momentum for 2018 19 campaign. :old:

Annis.

You posted this very recently in a separate thread. Is there any reason why it is being raised again in a separate thread rather than the original one? As I said in that one, the season ticket price on offer for adults is £199 which, although an excellent deal, is just over £10 a game.

Fair play, they've got a cracking chairman there. Fan of the club who is clearly emotionally invested as well. I actually don't think they will struggle as much as some think. They have financial backing, faith in their manager, and Wagner will manipulate the Bundesliga market once again. They could well still go down but I think if they can get a good home support with this offer then they could do what Burnley have done this season. Win the majority of your home games and you're on the way to a survival season.

Quite right - the level of the Premier League below the top 7 this year was very poor and any of those other 10 teams who weren't relegates could find themselves in the bottom 3. On this basis, Huddersfield have a reasonable chance of staying up.

Then you have the fickle Blackpool fans walking away from the club.
