thought they were both useless tbh , neither gave real answers , gave typical politicians answers without really answering the questions

I haven't read anywhere suggesting she "won"? Most seem to be championing Corbyn for his sincerity and ability to stay calm despite being fired at from all angles!

Have a look at this thread:

Apparently she clearly "won".. whatever "winning" a question & answer session means.

It wasn't even a live debate, and you had the Tory lot jumping on the back of it calling it a "debate" that she'd apparently won.

I think it's pretty weak from May to refuse a straight up debate with Corbyn. She isn't gonna be getting pre determined questions and answers at a G7, UN, NATO meeting. Thinking on the spot is kinda a big deal for national leaders

Yip by a mile.. He was even asked if a drone had information that he was going to plant a bomb would he give the ok to take him out.. And he wouldn't even commit to ordering slotting him... The Guy is a danger to national defence

i quite seriously hope not. i hope our leader whoever it is would be going into those sort of meetings fully briefed and very aware of whats going to be talked about. and have a considered position having discussed it at cabinet having had expert opinions..
but eh .maybe im wrong it might be just like going on pointless.

That wasn't the exact wording of it though was it? - and he answered in a way that seperate's him from the likes of May and that tool across the pond that'll just bomb other countries to the ground at free will.

On your logic, Corbyn "lost" the question & answer because he opted for a more dare I say it "conservative" answer to a question on killing someone. - I totally agree that he'd need to see evidence before making such a decision.

Hands up. Ive already voted and it was conservative. I'm very disappointed by their campaign so far and genuinely worried about what Corbyn Abbott and co would do to this country. But that's a side issue.

I think a lot of what we are seeing is the cult of Corbyn followers. Many of whom are millennials are basically shouting and screaming down and dissent. If anyone dare have a public opposing view on social media they are branded Tory scum. There are posts a plenty not on how alternative manifestos have merit or not. It's about how to vote out tories tactically. That for me is a sad indictment of our politics and democracy.

I'm not Mays biggest fan. But my beliefs are right of centre. I consider myself a liberal conservative. If I can't vote conservative who CAN I vote for??

If I was left of centre or left wing I have a plethora of alternatives. I'm not so my opinions are ignored as Tory Scum. People wondered why ukip did so well. It was because they started as another right of centre party so conservatives had somewhere to go if they wanted out of the eu. Nige farage is no socialist.

Believing in lower taxation and smaller state does doesn't make you scum but the cult like behaviour silences people's views and prevents debate.

Funnily enough it seems if anyone on here is considering voting Labour they get shot down and abused. The internet isnt as infested with pro Labour people as you might think
