PLEASE READ AND VOTE " TOO MUCH POLITICS ON HERE? "

Seen a lot of people moan in the last few days about the amount of Politics topics on the main forum. Don't have an issue with it personally while there's a general election happening. I think after the election, things will calm down a bit when it comes to the amount of political topics.

So, seemed fair to put it to a vote. You can choose out of the following:

Let politics have it's moment, it will all be over soon enough. Then like all of the campaigning politicians we hopefully won't see them again for another 4/5 years. If NW signs a few shortly then we can have something better to discuss!

Not much else going on at the minute. Forum might be a bit quiet without all the election bickering. Once it is over we can all start ridiculous rumours about potential signings (I'll go for Ronaldo) and who's been seen at Howells. Have a few weeks where we mention every player in the football league being on his way here, and before we know it the pre season friendlies will be here.

Once June 8th/9th has gone all will be back to normal

There should be a politics sub-forum. I've found I can have a reasoned debate with the majority of lads on here. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't. However, there is that minority element that are just trolling everything from both sides of the political spectrum and it's damaging the football atmosphere of the forum. Give politics its own sub-section and keep it separate.

and dont get this poll. if people want the politics to drop off the front page..get posting football threads and contribute to the football threads already up.
truth is theres not much happening football wise just crap made up rumours.
nw is top of the list.

I think that political debating is great and especially when it's on this kind of platform where you can get the views of dozens of people all in one place. Im perfectly happy with political threads which involve the debating and sensible arguing between people's views.

What I'm getting tired of is the threads created just to post an Anti Labour/Corbyn meme or a thread insulting all Tories as right wing racists etc which all spiral into hatred and name calling.
You're not gonna sway people's political views on a footballing forum and you certainly won't be taken seriously if all you post is abuse and memes.

I get involved sometimes in political debates, but think the main forum should be kept for football/CCFC with one or two side topics

Closed season or not its a football forum and needs to be kept that way by the mods

The reason there is so much discussion on here at the minute is because there is not much happening on the football front. In a short time the election will be a distant memory, the transfer window will be open, and we can all read the threads about the several hundred players rumoured to be coming here. When we get bored of the rumours it will be prediction time again, and in no time at all it will be normal service resumed where the referees will be the main topic every time we lose.

I think there should be a separate political forum its bad enough people on here think they are the best chairmen managers in football not they think they know how to run the country

I come on here to see any news about Cardiff nothing else but I find it difficult with certain individuals on here who cannot have any kind of debate they start with insults and crap if we dare disagree with them.

as i write this . on the main board there are 11 football threads with zero replies .
and 9 football threads with just the 1 reply.
almost all topics that do not involve our club that are there because there is so very little to chat /argue about re our club..

i would agree with you if the above was different but its not.
