Mods- Too many non football "newbie" users

Sun May 28, 2017 5:34 pm

I get that during an election we are going to get right wing threads from Wez or almost commie stuff from CF14-SE14,slicker or piledriver but at least i value their opinion on all matters CCFC or football in general.

Recently we have account after account of newbies who when i click their history have never offered an opinion on the beautiful game or our mental club..........Sort it out !!!!! :old:

Noticed that myself. We all express our views on these political threads, but at least most of us joined primarily to talk about Cardiff City, and myself and Wez rarely agree with much when it comes to our football team, even if we share some political views. If you look at users like Merlin 11, he comes across as someone who has no interest in football. As far as I can see he has never discussed a football matter, and I can't understand why he has come to a football forum to talk only about how bad the Conservatives are. Appears he has no opinions on Cardiff City FC, so why join a City forum.

Too many political threads maybe. Too many FAR RIGHT WING The threads slagging off Anyone who disagrees. When a couple of socialist supporting threads are submitted there is an outcry. Bit like Theresa May (an election campaign is OK as long she doesn't meet someone who challenges HER!!!).
CYMRU YES!!

I'm a Corbyn supporter and a Labour voter but even I'll admit it's a bit strange we have people posting pro-Labour topics who never post anything about football.

Certainly can't accuse Annis of posting pro-Labour stuff under a different name

Just shift the political posts away from the football topics. Simple solution. I know the vote has got the majority wanting to keep the politics chat in here but it's definitely ruining the football chat. I get involved in the political chat as much as anyone and have good debates with people. Myself and Steve Zodiak are a prime example. Two opposite ends of the spectrum but debate well and respect each others' views. However, elements from the left and right are killing this forum right now.

You say newbies to site but actually long time Cardiff city fans since sixties I've been a supporter just putting points of views over on issues other than football surely this is good for the forum ? As it is the end of season and not much else to talk about what is the problem? The more people involved the better the discussions.
When the new season begins perhaps there will be more football related topics.

personally i think there are to many political threads on this board at the min, i appreciate people have different views and opinions but i come on here to read about cardiff city not trail through endless amounts of political posts to find things about the club.personally think the political threads should all be put into a political sub forum so only people wanting to get involved will read and post in them, this is a football forum after all

im pretty sure if you started a few good football threads prople would post on them.
but at the moment. we are not playing. havent signed anyone officially. and the club seem to be in lock down regarding leaks.
the football threads have been about..millwall.monk..wenger..john terry. blackpools fan boycott. etc etc.. mostly things people can take or leave and have no strong opinions on.
