SECURITY IN CITY CENTRE

Just picked my daughter up off the Megabus and police are opening all manhole covers and the council are with them sealing them up with tar after they have been checked. Lots of work going on re- lining the white lines and yellow lines.

My guess would be because of the champions league.

I blame Brexit

Normal procedure for such a high level event with associated risks - get used to it for the next few weeks and try to avoid the city centre as it is going to get crazy with traffic etc

Yeah its for the champions league, they started doing it about a month ago.
