Bury have snapped up Jermaine Beckford on a free transfer following his release from Preston North End.
The striker has signed a two-year deal with the Shakers and becomes manager Lee Clarke's first summer signing.
Beckford was released by Championship Preston after making just four league starts last season, scoring once.
