How good has Brian Murphy been?

Sun May 07, 2017 8:17 pm

To think he came here in 3rd choice every time I have seen him play he's played awesome!

Don't think I've seen him ever have a bad game!

Would be happy for him to be number 2 next season.

He's been fantastic and I can't figure out why we weren't using before the end of last year, he had fantastic games against Brentford, Villa and even Bristol he was decent.

I felt like he was treated a bit unfairly but I do understand that Warnock wanted to use Mcgregor, considering he was a loan presumably on large wages so Warnock wanted to get his money's worth.

I would be more than happy to have Murph as our number 1 and then bring in two other goalkeepers to rotate for cup matches and in the case of injuries, he has always put in an fantastic effort when he has played for us and has kept 3 clean sheets in 6 games for us which isn't bad going.

As a sidenote it was his birthday today, he turned 34 today :ayatollah:

One of the stories of the season. Can remember being at Brentford and thinking Brian was a goalkeeping coach. To be honest I'd like to see him move on and get the number one Jersey he deserves. Can't see him being number one under warnock sadly Tremendous Pro
