Neil Warnock faces the headache of Kenneth Zohore and his likely selection for Denmark for the Under 21 Euros this summer. Denmark face a friendly with Sweden on June 10 before group stage games with Italy, Germany and Czech Republic, and possibly more if they progress.
It comes with Warnock having also commented on fatigue affecting the 23-year-old who made a stunning breakthrough into the Bluebirds team under the 68-year-old, finishing the season as top scorer and rewarded with a new three-year contract.
Neil Warnock:
“I'm expecting him to be picked but it's a tournament through the summer when he really could do with a complete rest,” added Warnock. “There's nothing we can do about it but it's a shame it's not right after the season and he has to wait a few weeks and then train again.”
