Cardiff City should genuinely make a move for this Celtic player in the summer

You have to commend the work of Neil Warnock at Cardiff this season, who has taken them from relegation strugglers to the safety of mid-table.
When Warnock was appointed, he understandably played down the prospect of a record eighth promotion as the Bluebirds were mired in a relegation battle.
However, many feel that, given Cardiff’s form under the veteran manager, a play-off charge could be on for the club next season.
They’ve been a tad inconsistent and despite their success this year, a glance at their squad would lead you to believe that this squad isn’t capable of promotion, and changes will be needed ahead of next season.
One player who they should really be eyeing up is Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths, who could be looking to leave the Bhoys this summer as his spot in the starting eleven is taken by free scoring Moussa Dembele, who arrived from Fulham last summer.
During his four seasons at Celtic he has scored 82 goals in 136 appearances, a fine, fine record.
His best year was last year, 2015/16, during which he netted 40 goals in 51 outings.
There’s no doubt he has a hell of a finish on him, his goal in the Old Firm derby last weekend an example of it, and Cardiff would do very well to capture his talents.
Kenneth Zohore has been the executive source of goals for this club this season, but his 11 goals aren’t enough to fire a club to promotion.
Perhaps a back up role would better suit him.
With Griffiths potentially available this summer, Neil Warnock would do extremely well to bring him in, and it would be interesting to see how he does at this level.
