Will a hundred million pounds be enough

To keep Newcastle United in the PL next season, I would think not. This is the budget they are banking on. :bluebird:

It depends on how they spend it and how they manage their already big squad (with a lot of Premier quality players).

Last summer Burnley spent just over £24m (net) and are practically safe. If Newcastle want to do more in their first year back (like top half) they may have to spend a lot more. Benitez is good enough to use the money well if he stays - and build slowly.

Easily still have the basis of a decent lowerr prem side could spend half that wisely and push for the too half.

Just dont spend a club record on an untested Danish teenager...

Harsh comment, Slade barely spent a penny and got us finishing 8th with only 2 defeats at home all season.

Benitez has drastically under achieved with Newcastle this season, they should have comfortably won the league with the squad they have. They had Mitrovic as their 3rd choice striker behind Darryl Murphy and Dwight Gayle!

They must have sold in excess of £60m worth of players when they dropped down, then spe  nt almost same probably for promotion bid? Now another £100m in premiership! Not a recipe for stability playing wise?
