I thoughtKen recently signed one but maybe it wasn't long term. NW did say he's trying to tie down a few players for longer so maybe KZ comes under that category.
Any inside info gratefully received

This will do two things, obviously increase how long Ken stays with us and also increase his value to maximum as there will be interest in him this summer and if any club wants to try their hand, Warnock will force them to chuck up a very large sum of money as ken has had his best season ever in his own words.
I wouldn't worry currently about Ken as by this time next year he will more than likely be here, Spurs do this every time one of their starting 11 hits a big run of form, they keep the player happy by increasing his wages and then increase his value as it's normally a five year contract or if no team comes in for the player then they have got him for several years to come, it's normally a win/win scenario for big clubs like them

Thanks. True blue.
Forgive me for sounding a bit thick but if we currently have him on a 3 year contract on 50p a week we can keep him here and there's nowt that the player or other clubs can do. Isn't that correct?

Well he can obviously ask to leave, especially if there's bids coming in. The last thing we want is him (as modern players do) to starting acting up because he wants out. It's all about keeping your top players happy as said above.
